Our Vision is to create a place where free minded individuals can gather in the spirit of creativity and awareness. - A ‘poetry spot’ where we practice the age old art of rhythmical composition, written and spoken, for mental pleasure through beautiful, imaginative, and elevated thoughts.
- A place for karaoke; A spirited sing along to music from which the original vocals have been electronically eliminated.
- An open forum for the discussion of questions of public interest. Oliver Wendell Holmes once wrote, “The mind, once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas, never returns to its original size.” Our goal will be to always commit ourselves to the expansion of our own minds and those of our friends.
So whether you join us for Poetry, Karaoke, Open Forum, or simply to hang out with like minded people, we at the ‘SweetEpiphany’ Detroit consider you a friend. And with this consideration, it is our intent to grow into a family. We will be a dynasty of solutions of the same basic equation, differing from one another only by the values assigned to the definitives in the equation. That equation is our basic humanity.
